Well I have arrived in Tas…i actually arrived on Sat morning. We made pretty good time and got to Melbourne on Friday night..so we asked if we could catch the boat that night and they swapped us…so it was nice to arrive in Tas a day earlier. Boy it was rough out on the water though…5 metre waves! I’m so thankful for the travel sickness tablets otherwise i would have been in the toilet throwing up for most of it…i’m sorry to be graphic but that’s how rough it was!! lol Anyhow haven’t done much…it is absolutely freezzzing here! its like 10 degrees…and its really really windy..Popps arrved safely yesterday…she was a little frightened but she slept with ben and I all night under the blankets coz it was soo cold and she doesn’t have much fur being a Devon Rex! But i think she will fit in. Ben’s parents already have 2 cats and that has been interesting….but all will settle in time when they get used to eachother. It is sooo beautiful here….everything is soo green and lush..and we can have baths!!! No water restrictions at all!!! YAY…

Anyhow let me know all the goss…especially about work (Sarah) and the AO5 thing…want to know if tunya was successful…lol! Good luck on finishing ur thesis Ames..well done, I’m sure you will get a high distinction for it, ur so clever!! Well Benny and I are off to do our licenses and car rego this morning..fun fun!! and then i spose later on in the week we will visit a few temp agencies to get some money coming in…i dont feel like it but i spose we have to survive somehow..lol…

Went to the game last night against Sydney with Rob, mum, and Kate’s boyfriend Nick - so dodgy, Queensland had like 15 opportunities to score and missed every time, Sydney had probably 4 opportunities to score and got one in. So of course, we lost 1-0. Why do we waste our money going to the home games?? (Although I shouldn’t complain, student tickets are only $15).

And Cowboys lost too! Bad day for queensland sport

Well I have joined the blog…and I promise I will update you all with all the goss and news of my adventures on the Island…i just realised yesterday that i’m moving to an island…how weird and freaky is that!!! lol

We should def all keep in touch…and Gerard Butler definitely does it for me…after Phantom and 300..woof, hot body with a cute accent and a gorgeous singing voice..what more could you want. I think Marcus Gilbert is hot…you should check out some pics of him…he hasn’t been in many movies and i think he is in his 40’s now but in the late 80’s early 90’s he was a stud. He has featured in a lot of the Barbara Cartland movies like Hazard of Hearts and the Ghost of Monte Carlo!

I’m so excited about the concert tonight..Tori Amos is going to be fab! I’ll post an update after to let you guys know how it was…anyhow, haven’t had a shower yet so i better prepare for the day…lol I’m in quite a subdued and lazy mood at the moment….

OMG seriously, guys. So freakin’ glad it’s Friday. I really didn’t think this week was going to end.

So, what’s happening for the weekend? I’m going to try to make it into the city and see Stardust, maybe at Southbank. (Alternatively, I can go and see Matt Damon kicking ass for $8 with my Greater Union Cinebuzz card?)
